PhantomProtect · In development
PhantomProtect is being developed to spot suspicious files and connections using analysis on your Mac. We’re building local AI into that approach, with privacy at the center of how your protection works.

Privacy begins with the design
Your files and everyday activity can reveal a lot about your life. We’re developing PhantomProtect around local threat checks so that the analysis happens on the device you use.
Our direction brings together local rules, downloaded threat intelligence and AI that runs on your Mac. That keeps privacy part of the protection itself as threats and the tools used to create them evolve.
Online services still have a role, including updates and account access. We’ll explain those connections alongside the local analysis, so you can understand what the app shares.

A warning is more useful when you understand what triggered it. PhantomProtect is being designed to put suspicious activity in context, with clear information about what was detected and what you can do next.
PhantomWatch will show your Mac’s connections and provide manual firewall controls, and is planned for PhantomProtect and the full PhantomSecure Suite. PhantomGuardian is being developed to explain security events using AI on your device. Both are part of the planned PhantomProtect experience.

Follow our release plans ↗Encrypted private storage, including a playable movie carrier, is coming soon as a standalone Mac App Store app for compatible Apple silicon Macs running macOS 27 or later. Its Apple subscription plans are separate from PhantomSecure website plans.
Explore PhantomVault ↗Our direction starts with how SSDs and modern Mac filesystems actually work, including a protected workspace designed to make individual file keys revocable.

I’m Charlie, the developer behind PhantomSecure. I’m building the kind of Mac security I want to use: protection I can understand, with thoughtful choices about privacy.
Our resources bring together product explanations, security articles and development notes. As the PhantomSecure family develops, I’ll share the decisions and testing that shape it.
